Women’s Retreat sponsored
by Women of Worship

YMCA of the Rockies, Estes Park, Colorado
October 23rd-25th, 2015

Beautiful Estes Park Colorado will be the setting for the Women of Worship 2015 Fall Retreat. We will gather for a weekend full of learning, laughter, fun, girl time, worship and solitude with the Lord. The WOW worship retreat will be filled with personal moments sure to send every attendee home changed and seeking deeper intimacy with Christ.

Speakers for the retreat are Dale Skram and Kathy Cordell. These two friends are not afraid to share a bold, vulnerable and very real message based on Scripture. Dale and Kathy will share teaching time that will focus on the tension we all feel as Christ followers – having one foot firmly planted in eternity while living on earth. How do we live out being unique while seeking to belong? What does it mean to bask in being ‘different’ while being relevent to a world seeking to ‘fit in’? How do we walk this daily life in the anointing of the Lord, consecrated and set apart to show Jesus to the world? The message of this retreat will be relatable to all ages and religious backgrounds, and our hope is for women to come to a better understanding of their individual calling.

Worship will be led by Hannah Rupert, a very gifted leader, song writer and worshiper. Hannah will lead attendees to deep places of worship with her spirit-led worship style, packed with traditional hymns, contemporary worship and some of her original music as well. Saturday afternoon she will provide a time of deep soaking worship, allowing the world to fall away as the Lord is lifted high.

The retreat will consist of 5 sessions:

  • Friday night, 7-9pm
  • Saturday morning,   9:30-11:30am
  • Free time and lunch on own, 12-4pm Saturday
  • Saturday afternoon worship time, 4-5pm
  • Saturday night, 6:30-8:30pm
  • Sunday morning, 9:30-11am

Registration will begin at 5pm, Friday, Oct. 23rd and departure will be noon on Sunday, Oct. 25th

WOW is the very appropriate acronym for a group of women who have gathered together from different church backgrounds and denominations for one purpose: to glorify the Lord. As Christians we all pray to and praise One, Holy, Living and True God. Women of Worship offers women from diverse Christian backgrounds the opportunity to gather and grow deeper in Christ through prayer, worship, service and fellowship as one body.

We believe the Bible is the fully inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God breathed onto pages by Him as life’s instruction manual. We believe that His Word is real, alive and active. We believe the truth of Scripture teaches there is only one, true, holy and living God who exists in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
