Kathy Cordell is a writer, speaker, dramatist, professional life coach, motivational trainer and minstry leader. Her business, Freedom Steps Life Coaching, allows her to coach women internationally, specializing in the area of female sexuality. Kathy also contracts with the Wyoming Department of Health to train medical professionals to motivate patients toward positive lifestyle change.

Kathy’s work has been printed in several publications including Around Cheyenne, Bugle Magazine, Match.com, Today’s Christian Woman, Marriage Partnership and the U.S Government website for Women’s Health. She has also appeared at several Christian women’s events including Intimate Issues and Women of Worship Conferences.

Above all, Kathy loves the Lord. She is a passionate follower of Jesus and desires to help women grow deeper in their relationship with Christ as they fellowship with one another. In 2009, she became the founder of Women of Worship. WOW is a non-profit, multi-denominational women’s ministry organization which promotes and provides affordable, fun, relevant and life-changing women’s events that support Biblical truth and personal intimacy with Christ.

Kathy received her bachelor’s degree in medical technology from Montana State University in 1985 and her coaching certificate in 2008. She lives in Cheyenne, Wyoming with Scott, her husband of 25 years, and their two ‘almost grown’ children, Kelli and Adam. She is also ‘Grammie’ to her three year old grandaughter Rian.

The Quiet Places Retreat will be held at one of the most gorgeous venues on earth: The YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park Colorado. Women will stay in the brand new Emerald Mountain Lodge, complete with moss-rock fireplaces, spacious bedrooms, meeting areas, conference area and the most incredible views God ever created.



Cost will depend on how many women you wish to room with. Please note the prices below are based on rooming structure and are per person:

Single - $300
2 to a room - $200
3 to a room - $175
4 to a room - $150

Retreat prices include two nights lodging in the brand new Emerald Mountain Lodge, 3 meals, snacks and all conference activities.


WOW is now taking $25 non-refundable deposits which will insure your spot for Quiet Places. Payments can be made through the summer and final payment is due by October 1st, 2010. We will only be able to accommodate about 200 women and we do expect the retreat to fill quickly.
