Lorraine Pintus is an international author, speaker and writing coach. She was born in rural Nebraska and graduated from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, with a BA in journalism. Lorraine has been in the corporate world, owned her own business, has been a stay-at-home mother and ministry leader. Her humor, vibrancy and diverse life experiences make her a popular speaker at women's conferences and retreats nationwide.

Lorraine has appeared on hundreds of TV and radio programs. She is the author of Confessions of a PMS-Crazed Saint, Diapers, Pacifiers and Other Holy Things, and co-author with Linda Dillow of Intimate Issues, Intimacy Ignited and Gift-wrapped by God. She’s also been published in such magazines as Decision, Country, Christian Parenting Today, Virtue, Today’s Christian Woman and Focus on the Family. Lorraine and her good friend Linda Dillow have presented more than 70 conferences on God’s perspective of sex all around the world, including Ireland, Poland and Hungary.

More than anything, Lorraine loves the Lord. She is a deeply committed woman who knows Jesus and has a life-long commitment to developing an intimate walk with God.

Lorraine lives with her husband Peter in Colorado Springs. They have two young adult children, Amanda and Megan.

The Quiet Places Retreat will be held at one of the most gorgeous venues on earth: The YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park Colorado. Women will stay in the brand new Emerald Mountain Lodge, complete with moss-rock fireplaces, spacious bedrooms, meeting areas, conference area and the most incredible views God ever created.



Cost will depend on how many women you wish to room with. Please note the prices below are based on rooming structure and are per person:

Single - $300
2 to a room - $200
3 to a room - $175
4 to a room - $150

Retreat prices include two nights lodging in the brand new Emerald Mountain Lodge, 3 meals, snacks and all conference activities.


WOW is now taking $25 non-refundable deposits which will insure your spot for Quiet Places. Payments can be made through the summer and final payment is due by October 1st, 2010. We will only be able to accommodate about 200 women and we do expect the retreat to fill quickly.
