Beliefs

We Believe the Bible

is the fully inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God breathed onto pages by Him as life’s instruction manual. We believe that His Word is real, alive and active. We believe the truth of Scripture teaches there is only one, true, holy and living God who exists in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

We believe God the Father

is the Creator of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen and that He is the Giver of all good things. We believe that God is never-changing, ever-present, all-powerful and all-knowing.

We believe that Jesus Christ

was begotten by God, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born to the Virgin Mary, making Him fully God, yet fully man. We believe Jesus was the Word incarnate and that He walked this earth, performed miracles and was condemned by men and crucified, offering His blood as an atoning sacrifice for our sin. We believe in the bodily resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, His ascension into heaven and His present life there as High Priest and Advocate for us. We believe in the blessed hope which is the imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We believe the Holy Spirit

convicts the world of sin, inspires faith and reveals our gifts which will produce spiritual fruit. We believe the indwelling of the Holy Spirit not only brings insight to the things of God but also empowers the believer, making it possible to truly live a godly, abundant, free and power-packed life in Christ.

We believe

that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Rom 10:9)

We believe

we are all broken and imperfect people living in an imperfect world and we all need the perfect love only God can provide. We believe God provides this love through His Word, through the Holy Spirit and through possibly the most unlikely source of all; other imperfect people. As ministers for Christ, we are not as concerned with where a person has been as we are with where they are going. We believe it was for freedom that Christ set us free and every human has the capacity to fully grasp and embrace the freedom God provides.

We believe

that all Christians who profess faith in the one, true and holy God are called to unite with one heart and one voice to worship and glorify the Lord. We believe the Christian life should be marked by joy in Christ and that in our joy we should live and die for the glory of God.
